Known simply as "Acker Night" in the Prescott community, The J.S. Acker Musical Showcase has become a highlight of the holiday season and one of Prescott's favorite hometown events. Over 100 musical groups performing for three hours in and around the Prescott downtown area.
This free, annual, holiday event showcases the many talented musicians in the Prescott, Arizona area in a most unique way. A Boot Drop? Of course! Prescott knows how the West is done, and New Year's Eve is no exception! Historic Whiskey Row is the perfect location to ring in the New Year the cowboy way.
Watch the illuminated cowboy boot as its lowered from the 40-foot high Palace Building's flagpole at 10:00 pm and again at midnight. Enjoy entertainment, amazing fireworks and fantastic local vendors.
